Team Member & Lead Positions

Customer Service Team Members - The Customer Service Team Member position is responsible for providing quality and efficient service to our customers. Team Members in this role must provide courteous, knowledgeable assistance to customers while performing point of sale transactions, stocking and guidance. The Customer Service Team Members are often the first point of contact a customer has with Mission Ridge Range and Academy, so it is very important that they are focused on executing Our Vision, Our Mission and Our Core Values to ensure the best customer experience possible.

Retail Team Members - Retail Team Members assist customers and keep the sales floor stocked and organized. They also help customers as they shop by providing knowledge and answering questions. These Team Members serve as representatives of the Mission Ridge Range and Academy brand and play an important role in the overall success of the company. It is important to have strong interpersonal skills as well as effective communication to assist in building trusting relationships with our customers. Retail Team Members must also be proficient in administrative tasks to ensure that we are in compliance with our industry’s state and federal requirements.

Archery Team Members - Archery Team Members perform similar duties as the Retail Team Members with additional focus on the wide range of archery products and accessories we carry. An Archery Team Member at Mission Ridge Range and Academy must be knowledgeable in setting up compound bows for customers as well as providing coaching to help improve their success.

Range Safety Officers (RSOs) / Chief Range Safety Officers (CRSOs) - Range Safety Officers are responsible for the safety of all Mission Ridge Range and Academy customers, staff and range facilities. The RSOs' primary duty is to organize, conduct and supervise safe shooting activities and range operations for all shooters at all times.

Gunsmiths - We are always seeking skilled gunsmiths to repair, modify, and build various types of guns. The gunsmith’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to installing new chokes on shotguns, safely test-firing guns, scope installs and bore sighting, and general trouble shooting. Gunsmiths at Mission Ridge Range and Academy must be knowledgeable in ordering necessary replacement parts as well as making necessary modifications to firearms to ensure they function safely.

Training Instructors - Our instructors are the core of our Training Academy and they are on the front line of helping shooters advance at their own pace. Instructors must study and learn our curriculum to help provide classroom and live-fire instruction safely and consistently. Instructors offer everything from Private / Group Instruction and LTC Classes to Advanced Carbine and Long Range Precision Rifle. Instructors also carry their knowledge onto the retail floor to help provide customers with the best accessories to enhance their skills.

Receiving Team Members - The Receiving position is responsible for the accurate receiving, pricing, labeling, and merchandising of all products that come into Mission Ridge Range and Academy. These Team Members will handle Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA’s) and transfers and will also be the point of contact for anything shipping or receiving related. High attention to detail and industry specific product knowledge is necessary.

Management Positions

Managers - Managers lead our Team Members as we deliver our Vision and Mission to every customer, everyday, everywhere. They oversee the day-to-day operations of the store by monitoring Team Member activity, solving problems, assisting customers and coordinating the ordering, receiving and shipping of merchandise. They also maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards by delegating and performing tasks related to upkeep and organization to maintain store, including rearranging shelves, setting up displays and cleaning the store and products.

Membership & Events

Corporate Membership & Event Sales - The Corporate Memberships and Events Sales role assists company leadership and the executive team in building relationships in the community and selling membership and event offerings. This role will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
